Account deletion

Delete your Task Lock account

You can request deletion of your Task Lock account and associated Task Lock data from inside the app or by contacting support.

Request deletion in the app

Open Task Lock, go to Settings, choose Manage account, open Privacy and data, then choose Delete account. Type DELETE when prompted to confirm the request.

Request deletion outside the app

Email sebastian@rework.no from the email address connected to your Task Lock account. Include "Delete my Task Lock account" in the subject so we can identify the request.

Data deleted

Account deletion is intended to delete or anonymize Task Lock-owned account data, including profile data, Task Lock schedules, selected locked apps, task assignments, proof-mode settings, proof records, session history, daily stats, push tokens, queued analytics tied to the account, and Task Lock subscription entitlement rows.

Task Lock v2 does not store raw proof photos remotely. Account deletion removes the persisted proof verdict metadata and decoded-byte SHA-256 digests with the account. Local proof photos and derived stickers remain on the device and are removed when the app's local data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

Data that may be retained

Some records may be retained where required or permitted for legal, tax, accounting, refund, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, platform, or compliance reasons. Subscription and purchase records handled by Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other store providers may also remain subject to those providers' policies.

Timing

In-app deletion should begin immediately when the request is confirmed. Email requests are reviewed manually. We aim to complete valid deletion requests within 30 days unless a different period is required by law or needed to verify the request.

Contact

For deletion, access, correction, or privacy questions, contact sebastian@rework.no.

Optional analytics history

Optional product analytics is currently disabled. When enabled, account deletion also requests deletion of associated PostHog analytics events and identifiers. Provider deletion is asynchronous and is retried if temporarily unavailable. You can also delete analytics history separately in Task Lock → Settings → Privacy and data. Contact our support address on this page for the status of an outside-the-app deletion request.
